Membership in After The Wine will ensure that every detail of our more unusual and upscale social events will be planned and executed in perfect style ready for the busy professional or retiree to slip into and enjoy just like your own private country club.  Here are just a few of the possibilities we see in our future...Everyone laughing and enjoying dinner, wine and music and each other on the Infinity Yacht while cruising down the Detroit River on a warm July evening....Trips to fabulous resorts and bed-and-breakfasts in Napa and Sanoma valleys while being pampered and chauffeured between out-of-the way wineries in stretch limousines....Being invited to tour and experience the private wine cellars of some of our members.  After The Wine will include most any wine-related activities our minds can imagine.

There Is NOTHING Like This Out There!

Checking what was available from the singles social groups in and around Oakland County, Michigan for persons over 45 was dismal at best. Most of their group activities are advertised for the 20-something and 30-something crowds. Once or twice a year they throw a bone and offer an event for "Baby Boomers", but who wants to go out just twice a year??? How offensive is that?? 

Where are young-thinking, young-acting single men and women over 45 supposed go to meet each other on a regular basis if hanging out in the bar scene is not your style?  We are the TWEENIES......those hopelessly caught in that limbo age group where the rest of the world seems to have decided that what we want isn't important.  After The Wine is here to change that.

Many of us singles over 45 just happen to love wine but also know that it is a drink of romance meant to be shared.  There are many wine tastings around our area each week to enjoy, but what do you find when you attend one of those? They are full of couples, not singles! They are certainly not places for single people to meet other single people, and you feel like a fifth wheel if attending alone.

Why shouldn't there be PRIVATE tastings and events where you can learn more about and enjoy our favorite drink while sharing it with other singles who feel the same?  And....Did you ever notice that most public tastings are held on weekdays in order to fill in the slow times at those establishments?   Why shouldn't you have something special to look forward to on weekends and date nights, too?  With After The Wine you will.  And if you would like to attend the public week night tasting events also, wouldn't it be wonderful to have other singles to invite to attend those with you?

What's It All About?

It's about wine parties, gatherings and trips set up and planned exclusively for singles over 45 where your ideas and suggestions will always be welcome and, in fact, encouraged.  After The Wine is a start-up so new that it hasn't had time to set up its website yet so we are piggy-backing on our other business site for the time being. 

After The Wine is about every party, tasting and event being exclusively limited to those 45+ who are willing to show their driver's license as proof of age in order to become a member.  Yes, you will be carded again probably for the first time in many years!   But we promise to keep all dates of birth private!  Age is just a number anyway.  Your true age is how positive, young, vibrant and full of life you feel!

It's about having FUN with the possibility of meeting many people with similar interests......some with whom you may form dating relationships on your own and some with whom you may add to your circle of friends.


What It's NOT About?

After The Wine will never be a dating service. If you search the fine print, most of those have a cut off age around 45 for applicants anyway, although I've heard they are more than happy to take your money, too.  It's just that they have few if any matches for you. 

And if you've tried online dating and it hasn't worked for you, why not try After The Wine?  All you need is a passion for life and wine.
